Why Us?
As a Headteacher, I learned that for a school to continue to grow and improve, it is essential to have a trusted external adviser who knows the school well and provides high-quality, ongoing support.
The most valuable support I received came from someone who provided an informed external perspective — someone who could challenge my thinking and that of my leadership team and governors, while also understanding the unique context of our school.
Having an experienced partner who knew our journey, who was always available at the end of an email or phone call, and who could connect us with other specialists when needed, was invaluable. Towards the end of my headship, I lost that level of external challenge and trusted support. It made me realise just how important that relationship had been.
That experience is why I founded Impetus Education Solutions.
My aim was to build a team that works closely with schools, truly understands their context, and supports them on their journey of improvement. We provide constructive challenge while working alongside Headteachers and leadership teams to help realise their vision for their school.
Our consultants bring extensive experience, credibility and a proven track record in leadership, teaching and learning. Most importantly, we share a genuine passion for supporting schools to become the very best places they can be.

Alongside our advisory work, Impetus Education Solutions provides a comprehensive training offer designed to strengthen leadership and support school improvement.
We provide inspection preparation and support , helping school leaders feel confident and well prepared.
Our national leadership networks , delivered remotely on a half-termly basis , bring together professionals to collaborate and share best practice across key areas including EYFS, SEND, English, Mathematics and Specialist Provision.
We also offer termly remote Subject Leader Update Training , supporting curriculum leaders in Computing, Science, PE and PSHE to stay informed about national developments and effective practice.
In addition, we provide Trustee and Governor training , helping governing bodies strengthen their strategic role, provide effective challenge, and confidently fulfil their responsibilities in driving school improvement.
